Potential Consumer Reviewers are selected from the pool of eligible nominees to be interviewed by phone.

Consumers who are selected to serve on a peer review panel will be contacted by email and/or letter by mail with the good news.

In some instances, not all eligible nominees will be able to serve due to limited space on that year's peer review panels. Eligible nominees who are not selected to serve in the year they are nominated will have their nominations "rolled over" to be considered in the following fiscal year's program (pending Congressional appropriations).
